Nespresso, a world leader in coffee machines, capsules and accessories, required a consistent, engaging social presence across its many local markets.

With Nespresso, we produced a Playbook

There was some real work behind the fun. Our first task was to turn the company’s traditional brand assets into ones that would work socially, competing against content from other premium brands. Each aspect was considered, from how best to apply the logo to tight, digital typographic rules. New brand codes include an eye-catching set of accent colours, referencing the appearance of Nespresso’s capsule range. Art direction guidance includes the use of macro photography and dynamic film, through to the appearance of the end product, a perfect cup of coffee. We wrapped up Nespresso’s set of global principles in the form of a Social Content Playbook, having proved they engaged by directing various seasonal campaigns. Now, however social, the world always knows it’s Nespresso.
